- Hello, My name is Chris and I am a Junior in high school. I have a spoiled red ear slider named squirt. I got him back in December of 'O7. He was about 2.7 inches long when I got him and he is now about 3.5 inches long. I also got an Ornate box turtle, she is about 3 1/4". This blog will be mostly about my turtles, tank set-up, care, and general turtle talk. Hope you enjoy reading my blog. I am big on photos and photography so I will probably be posting a lot of photos of my tank set-ups and squirt himself. Feel free to post comments asking questions if you need to! I will be happy to answer them.

Hey! Got your blog from your signature on the MB at redearedslider.com I am a new RES owner - I am diggn' your tank set up. My turtle's name is Sheldon. I like the river rocks instead of gravel - I am going to copy that idea. Thanks for sharing all the photos - it is very helpful for newbie turtle owner like me!
